Much can be done to address issues impacting at risk youth at the local and legislative level. Public policy, and budget decisions limit or expand the choices and opportunities we have in helping our most at risk children.

Become a Cyberlobbyist

The easiest way to become informed about legislative issues affecting children and to make your voice heard on the issues that are important to you is through the Cyberlobbying section of the Covenant with North Carolina's Children's web site.

At this site, you can find out who your elected representative or senator is by entering your zip code and write a letter using suggested talking points to key decision makers.

Support community based juvenile justice programs and youth service organizations and advocate for increased funding to local Juvenile Crime Prevention Councils.
