Kenny Dalsheimer, Director and Editor of Choices and Change, is an award winning filmmaker and media educator. He wrote the Action Guide for the film and is coordinating the outreach and distribution for Choices and Change.

Dalsheimer received his M.A. in Anthropology from Duke University in 1985 and taught middle school at Carolina Friends School between 1986-1996. In 1997, he founded The Groove Productions, and has since completed three award winning documentaries, Go Fast, Turn Left: Voices From the Orange County Speedway, Walking Miracles, and Shine On: Richard Trice and the Bull City Blues. Dalsheimer offers a variety of video workshops and documentary production courses to youth and adults. He is currently producing a film about The Song that Greens the Earth, a visionary theatre project about issues of inclusion for people with severe disabilities and is in post-production on a film about French photographer Georges Rousse and his month-long public art project in Durham, NC in 2006. He lives in Durham, NC with his wife, Marybeth, and three children, Sam, Ellie and Isaac.
